METHOD FOR PREDICTING TEMPERATURE OF AIR IN AIR CONDITIONER AND METHOD FOR PREDICTING LEAKAGE OF STEAM VALVE FOR AIR CONDITIONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To predict subsequent time variation of the air temperature in an air conditioner through temperature measurement for a relatively short time and to predict leakage of a steam valve through a simple method without requiring any flowmeter. ;SOLUTION: Time variation of the air temperature in an air conditioner 1 and the outer air temperature in the proximity of the air conditioner are measured, respectively, by means of a thermometer 13 disposed in the air conditioner and a thermometer 14 disposed on the outside of the air conditioner in the proximity thereof. Coefficients of a mathematic model for the air temperature in the air conditioner are then determined from these temperatures and the subsequent air temperature in the air conditioner is predicted based on the mathematic model for which the coefficients are determined. Furthermore, leakage of steam is predicted based on the predicted variation the air temperature in the air conditioner.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
