PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily generate scenery data with a less amount of data in a shorter time that computer graphics by arranging generated individual building three-dimensional data on a corresponding two-dimensional digital map and generating three-dimensional city scenery information. ;SOLUTION: A building three-dimensional data generation part 13 generates three-dimensional data on individual buildings included in map information. Namely, an image processing part 18 for the individual building data performs specific processing for image data digitized according to individual pictures of buildings included in object map information. Then an individual building three-dimensional processing part 19 performs the texture mapping of data read out of the individual image memory 20 to the individual building data after the image processing by the image processing part 18, selects and reads building shapes out of a library 21 for building shapes by corresponding individual buildings, and performs parametric operation matching the sizes of the shapes to generate the three-dimensional data.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
