PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent creasing of a cushioning board at the time when a bonding liquid is applied to a ridgeline part of the cushioning board. ;SOLUTION: A glue roller 10 having rails 12 and 13 fitted helically in reverse directions to each other from the vicinity of the center of a roller main body 11 is used. At the time when the glue roller 10 comes into contact with a ridgeline part of a cushioning board, tensile forces in reverse directions to each other from the vicinity of the center of the cushioning board as the boundary between them act on the cushioning board. As a result, the tensile forces offset each other, the cushioning board is not pulled only in one direction and thus no creasing takes place.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
