METHOD FOR JUDGING VALIDITY OF DATA PROCESSING TRANSACTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a protection level against the illegal use of identification card at an automatic money receiving/dispensing machine for a legal card owner and the operator of automatic money receiving/dispensing machine. SOLUTION: This method is provided for judging the validity of transaction in a data processing system such as the validity of financial transaction performed on an automatic money receiving/dispensing machine 10 including a magnetic card reader. The user of this system is requested to input personal information composed of the birthday and the telephone number designated by the user in addition to the input of personal identification number. The user can input the personal identification number by using a key pad 16. Besides, the user is requested to input numerals from personal information to be checked by stored privacy protection so as to improve the level of privacy protection. The data processor of this system is programmed so as to further request numerals from the personal information in the case of error in the data input.
