SUB-DUCT FOR OPTICAL CABLE AND PIPE MEMBER FOR DRAWING SUB-DUCT FOR OPTICAL CABLE AS WELL AS THEIR APPLICATIONS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sub-duct for an optical cable which may be easily pulled out in case the duct breaks and remains within a conduit tube line, a pipe member for easily pulling out the sub-duct 1 for the optical cable broken and left in the conduit tube line as well as their applications. ;SOLUTION: The end on the front end side of the sub-duct 1 for the optical cable to be inserted into the conduit tube line 5 is provided with a connector 2. The connector 2 is made connectable to the connector 4 at the front end of a rod 3 for pulling out inserted into the sub-duct 1 for the optical cable from the hand side. In case part of the sub-duct 1 for the optical cable breaks and remains in the conduit tube line 5, the sub-duct is pulled out by the following stages: (1) The rod 3 for pulling out is inserted into the sub-duct 1 for the optical cable along the conduit tube line 5 from the hand side. (2) The connector 4 at the front end of the rod 3 for pulling out is connected to the connector 2. (3) The sub-duct 1 for the optical cable is pulled out by pulling the rod 3 for pulling out.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
