PURPOSE:To prevent engine stall due to high loading at the time of turning by combining a change gear with a throttle valve adjusting device in such a way that an engine will be high in revolution when the change gear is made to be high in operating conditions, and also that the engine is maintained at high in revolution when the change gear is switched from high speeds over to low speeds. CONSTITUTION:A split pulley 10 for stepless shifting is mounted onto the output shaft 7a of an engine 7, and a continuously variable transmission is formed by making a tension pulley 14 function in such a way that the tension of a V-belt 12 wrapping around the split pulley and a V-pulley can be changed. A change speed lever 13 and a throttle lever 15 are arranged at the right and left sides, and a link stem 18 is provided for the throttle lever 15 side. When the change speed lever 13 is actuated to the high speed side, the throttle lever 15 is linked in such a way as to be also on the high speed side while the link stem 18 combined integrally with the throttle lever 15 is engaged. And when the change speed lever 13 is actuated to the low speed side from the abovementioned condition, only the change speed lever 13 is thereby switched over to the low speed side while the throttle lever 15 is left as it is.
