PURPOSE:To provide the title lining bricks which are mutually jointed fastly, and the title vessel which is free from fear of leakage of molten aluminum through the jointed face. CONSTITUTION:The upper face of lining brick 10 forms a projection part 11 at the center part in longitudinal direction and the lower face thereof forms a recessed part 12 having a shape to be fittable to the projection part 11 in the upper face, i.e., has a dowel structure. On the other hand, the side face of lining brick 10 in contact with the other brick arranges a notched part at the center part and the notched part can be mutually fitted to the side face of the other brick, i.e., forms a half-lap joint structure.
