PURPOSE:To judge contact between a rotary shaft and an oil draining-off fin securely based on temperature record by transmitting heat which is generated in the oil draining-off fin by a heat conductor, detecting temperature, and recording it. CONSTITUTION:A rotary shaft 1 is supported by a bearing oil draining-off member 2, and an oil draining-off fin 3 is mounted on a clearance between them. A heat conductor 4 is mounted on the whole periphery of each oil draining-off fin, and temperature of the oil draining-off fin is detected by a temperature detector 5 via the heat conductor 4 and recorded on a temperature recorder 6. When the oil draining-off fin 3 contacts with the rotary shaft 1, temperature rises, and contact is judged securely by the temperature recorder. Thus, it is possible to prevent a serious accident in advance.
