PURPOSE: To enable easy formation cogongrasses of correct dimensions even by a beginner by a method wherein a material set on a material setting stage of a carriage is cut along the top surface of a side plate. ;CONSTITUTION: Two long side plates 1 are joined with a prescribed space left between them. A horizontal part 1A is formed in the middle of the top surface of each of the side plates 1. A bent part 1B warped upward is formed on one side of the horizontal part 1A so that it connects continuously to this part, while a bent part 1C warped downward is formed on the other side of the horizontal part 1A so that it connects continuously to this part. Between the two side plates 1, 1a material setting stage 5 having the top surface in the same shape as the horizontal part 1A and the bent part 1C warped downward is provided. Threaded tubes 6 are provided in the front and the rear on the lower side of the material setting stage 5 and screw rods 9 inserted through long holes 8 of a support late 7 respectively are screwed into the threaded tubes 6 from below. A screw rod 15 is thrust inside the side plate l on one side from outside of it through a nut 12 provided in the side plate 1 and presses the side face of a material 13 by a pressing piece provided at the fore end of the screw rod, so as to fix the material.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
