PURPOSE: To improve design properties, to reduce the cost of a connector and to extend an effective space on the lower side of a roof by forming the connector connecting a post and a beam material for bearing the roof in a division system, storing one first connecting member in the post, storing the other second connecting member in the beam material for bearing the roof and uniting the post and the beam material for bearing the roof extremely firmly in a neat appearance shape in a set building such as an approach. ;CONSTITUTION: A connector 4 connecting a post upper-end section and a beam material for bearing a roof in a set building such as an approach is formed in the so-called division system, and the connector 4 is composed of a post-side first connecting member 5 fixed to the upper end section of a post in an insertion manner and a beam-material side second connecting member 6 inserted into the post corresponding section of the beam material for bearing the roof. The post-side first connecting member 5 and the beam-material side second connecting member 6 are combined through bolts 10 penetrated into the lower wall of the beam material for bearing the roof.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
