PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify execution and make sure reinforcement by inserting the end parts of a sheet made of carbon fiber and the like reinforcing shearing strength of the pillar, the beam, and the like of a reinforced concrete construction into grooves provided on a main body or an adjoining member so as to be fixed. ;SOLUTION: Grooves 15 are formed on a pillar 10, a beam 11, or adjoining floor 12 and wall 13, and the end parts of reinforcing sheets C1, C2 made of reinforced fiber material are inserted into the grooves so as to be fixed. For this fixing, epoxy resin, non-shrink mortar, or the like is charged in the groove 15, a block-like presser material is inserted and fixed, and adhesive is spread on the surface of the pillar 10 or the beam 11, and the reinforcing sheets C1, C2 adhere. Otherwise, a fixing sheet is previously provided in the groove, and the end parts of the reinforcing sheets C1, C2 can adhere to the sheets. The end parts of the reinforcing sheets C1, C2 are prevented from separating. Hereby, fixing of the reinforcing sheets C1, C2 is made sure, and hence the reinforcing effect can be sufficiently exhibited.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
