PURPOSE:To enable a curing accelerating agent within a mica tape to be determined with high sensitivity by measuring luminous strength using the ICP method for a sample solution. CONSTITUTION:Since it is difficult to directly measure a curing accelerating agent (zinc naphthenate) within a mica tape, nitric acid is added to the mica tape for indirectly obtaining the curing accelerating agent by determining zinc, the mica tape is dissolved by heating and then is cooled, it is filtered by a filter paper, the filtered liquid is received by a measuring flask, and the residue is mixed with a washing liquid which is obtained by washing nitric acid. Then, strontium is added to this mixed liquid as a standard substance and water is added to form a certain amount, which is used as a sample solution by the quantitative analysis method of zinc within the mica tape by the ICP method. It is desirable to use ion exchange water for water.
