PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the preferential passage signal system for an emergency vehicle which can confirm the signal display of a signal at an intersection on the emergency vehicle side. ;SOLUTION: This system has a radio communication between a transmitter receiver built in the signal 30 at the intersection and the transmitter receiver mounted on the emergency vehicle 10 to forcibly changes the signal on the travel direction of the emergency vehicle into blue and the display of the crossing opposite-side signal into red, or make the both into red. In this case, the signal display state of the signals can be monitored through the navigation system on the emergency vehicle side.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
