COMBINATION MEMBER HAVING HIGH SPEED AND DURABLE IMAGE TRANSFER CHARACTERISTICS FOR LASER INDUCING HEAT-TRANSFER, WHERE IMAGE-FORMED LASER CAN BE CAST, AND RELATED PROCESS
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively operate at a high speed, and provide a high image density and a favorable durability by a method wherein for a flexible emitting layer, a polymer of which the decomposition temperature is less than a specified temperature is used, and a laser inducing heat-transfer is performed at a specified laser fluence level. ;SOLUTION: A combination member where a laser can be cast, is exposed along an image by a laser, normally an infrared laser, by a laser fluence at approx. 440 mj/cm2 or lower, and a transfer of a material along the image is performed from a donor element to an accepting body element. As a result of the exposure of the material and the transfer along the image, the obtained combination member where a laser can be cast is called a combination member where an image-formed laser can be cast. In many cases, following the imaging, the combination member where the image-formed laser can be cast is separated into two, an image-formed donor element and an image-formed accepting body element.
