摘要

PURPOSE: To provide a zirconia-containing magnesia-alumina based spinel clinker capable of being adequately used for refractory application by a water system and a refractory obtained by using the same by effectively increasing thermal shock resistance while keeping excellent slag erosion resistance and favorably improving digestion resistance. ;CONSTITUTION: This spinel clinker is composed mainly of ZrO₂, MgO and Al₂O₃ and has a chemical composition containing 95wt.% sum of the three components, 0.5-20wt.% ZrO_-2, Al₂O₃ and MgO of quantities satisfying the following formula, 0(MgO content)-(0.07×ZrO₂ content)-(Al₂O₃, content)/2.53)≤3, and contains zirconia crystal in magnesia alumina based spinel crystalline phase containing small quantity of periclase crystals.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
