PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carboxymethylcellulose ether alkali metal salt (CMC) which can give a dried powder having a uniform particle distribution, suppressed in the formation of a fine powder and having excellent quick water solubility, a high bulk density and excellent handleability. ;SOLUTION: This method for granulation comprises disintegrating a starting material being a solid comprising 15-40wt.%, based on the solid, CMC, 40-60wt.% water and the balance of a 2-4C alcoholic solvent with a disintegrator.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
