PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject system capable of comprehensively monitoring an environmental pollution, by measuring the movement of the ion channel of plant. ;SOLUTION: The movement of the ion channel of plant is measured by applying the measuring technology of brain wave and electrocardiography to preferably previously input the data of external stimulation on the surface (cell membrane) of a plant as specific electric signals (organism potential response) into a computer. What the external stimulation is can be detected (recognized) by the plant itself or monitored (outputted) preferably by the computer. An apparatus can exactly recognize the kind and intensity of the change of the external stimulation (environment) and a system is constituted so as to comprehensively monitor an environmental pollution by the detection (recognition) of these environments.
