PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably save labor for construction, remarkably improve environment such as noise, vibration, and dust, remove concrete by water jet without cutting reinforcement, and realize sure construction without breaking existing reinforcement. ;SOLUTION: Against an existing RC structure such as a bridge pier 1, a slit 10 is provided in the vertical direction by water jet, without cutting the existing reinforcement 4. Reinforcing reinforcement 6 for post construction is arranged so as to combine with the existing reinforcement 4 by utilizing the slit 10, and increased thickness concrete 7 is placed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
