PURPOSE: To provide a device and a line of equipment for correcting squareness of the flange of an H-shape steel, by which a stable correcting is performed by a constant flange pressing force over the whole length. ;CONSTITUTION: The device is provided with a main body frame 4 which is supported freely and vertically movably by an elevating/lowering jack 7 on a floor 5; a pair of left and right cartridge 8, 8 which are held freely movably in the main body frame 4; a pair of upper and lower moving jack 11, 11 in which a hydraulic cylinder 13 having a follow-up function to operate the cartridge 8 movably and an overload preventing function is assembled; and a U-shaped supporting frame 15 which is fixed freely capably of decanting on the inner surface of the cartridge 8. In addition, the device is constituted of a flange correcting roll 14 which is axially supported vertically to the supporting frame 15 and is made freely rotatably drivable by a motor 16; a roller 21, for restraining the lower face of a web, which is freely rotatably attached to the lower part of the cartridge 8; and a roller 19, for restraining the upper face of the web, which is attached freely rotatably and also freely vertically movably to the upper part of the cartridge 8.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
