PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intersection device for a self traveling type toy capable of preventing the collision and rear-end collision of the self traveling type toys with each other inside an intersection. ;SOLUTION: This device is provided with the intersection 4 formed by crossing a first traveling path 5 and a second traveling path 6 where plural motor- driven automobiles 13 and 14 self-travel and the intersection 4 is provided with an approach control mechanism 23 for stopping the other automobile 14 before the intersection 4 until the automobile 13 approaching the intersection 4 first of the automobiles 13 and 14 headed to the intersections 4 passes through the intersection 4. Control is performed so as to preferentially make the first automobile 13 travel inside the intersection 4 so as to prevent the collision and the rear-end collision inside the intersection 4 of the automobiles 13 and 14 with each other.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
