PURPOSE: To visually identify whether a vice is returned to a home position in an easy manner to positively prevent a malfunction during the use of an automatic plate replacing device by providing switches to be operated when vices are adjusted and indication parts lighting when the switches are turned ON. ;CONSTITUTION: In a multi-color printing press, switches 1₁-1₄ to be operated when vices are adjusted and indication parts 2₁-2₄ lighting when the switches are operated are provided in printing devices for every color. Namely, when the switches 1₁-1₄ are operated, the indication parts 2₁-2₄ are lighted through contacts 1_1a-1_4a. Another contacts 1_1b-1_4b of the switches 1₁-1₄ are serially connected to an automatic plate replacing device 3. When the position of the vice is to be adjusted, the switch 1 of the appropriate device is operated to light the corresponding indication part 2 to inform an operator that the vice is being adjusted. Furthermore, since an earth circuit is interrupted, the automatic plate replacing device 3 cannot be actuated even when the switch 1 of any of the devices is operated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
