PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head casting made from an amorphous Zr alloy having high strength and a low elastic modulus. SOLUTION: A golf club head casting is made from an amorphous Zr alloy which has a composition containing 10-32% Cu, 3-15% Al, 5-15% Ni, 0.3-1.4% Sn, 0.02-1% Fe, 0.02-1% Cr, and if necessary 0.1-10% Ti in atomic percentages, with the rest being Zr and inevitable impurities, and which has a system that is amorphous either entirely or by 50% or more of its area with the rest being crystalline.
