PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a dense and highly durable casted body without a formwork by wet-spraying a self flow-type slip-casting refractory composition excellent in self-flowability even when kneaded with a small amt. of water and hardly deteriorating durability. ;SOLUTION: This self flow-type slip-casting refractory composition is obtained by adding 0.01-1.0 wt.% dispersant and segregation preventive agent by outer percentage to the gross amt. of 35-50 wt.% refractory fine powder having ≤75 μm grain size, 0.5-6 wt.% silica fume and the balance of refractory aggregate having ≤10 mm grain size. This self flow-type slip-casting refractory composition is kneaded with water to adjust the casting consistency for working, transfer it to a spray nozzle by forcibly feeding pump and add a flocculant at the spray nozzle along with compressed air, and the composition is sprayed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
