PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high-purity natural zeolite by classifying dry-ground natural zeolite ore using an air classifier. ;SOLUTION: This natural zeolite 1-10 μm in average particle size and 180-200 meq/100 g in CEC is obtained by dry-grinding natural zeolite ore with a CEC of about 155 meq/100 g followed by classification through selecting classification point using a precision air classifier. This natural zeolite is compounded with an ethylenevinyl acetate copolymer so as to raise far-infrared emissivity of the product followed by formation into a film to obtain the other objective far infrared-emissive film. By the above method, zeolite crystal can be concentrated by means of combination of dry pulverization with precision air classification through paying attention to the difference in hardness and size between the zeolite crystal in natural zeolite ore and quartz, feldspar and clay mineral, and owing to the excellent far infrared emissivity of the zeolite crystal, composite films having good food preservative effect can be afforded.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
