PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare design data independent of device technology by constituting the system of a target cell library extraction part, an information list output control part and a target macro cell logic generalization part. ;SOLUTION: A cell library table 111, an intermediate connection information table 112 and a macro cell logic table 113 are inputted to the technology independent logical design supporting system and the target cell library extraction part 102 extracts only a cell to be used in a required device environment based on intermediate connection information and generates a target library 114. Then the target cell information list output control part 103 extracts cell information such as the area value of the target cell, collects the extracted information based on a specific format and outputs target cell information list 115. Then a target device, a cell logic part for the target cell and a macro cell logic part are merged and a target macro cell library 116 is generated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
