PURPOSE:To obtain an apparatus which can be farmed as a multichannel without using a swivel compensating the twist of a tube, which eliminates a dead volume, whose optical signal can be processed and whose reliability is high. CONSTITUTION:The floor face 4 of a cage 6 which has been inserted into, and fitted to, a frame body 5 can be turned and moved freely by rollers 2, the cage is fixed to a base stand 1, and lead wires 9 which have been connected to a laboratory animal and tubes 10 or an optical fiber 10a are drawn out from a hole 7 which has been made in the surface of the cage. A rotation detection device 12 which detects the amount and the direction of the twist of a slip ring 13 which compensates the twist of the lead wires 9 and the tubes 10 or the optical fiber 10a is installed at the upper part of the cage, a motor 14 is installed at the outer circumference of the frame body 5 via a rotation drive part 15, and the floor face 4 is turned in a direction opposite to the direction of the twist.
