PURPOSE: To provide zinc oxide more beautiful than anything conventional for use in a glittery coating and a glittery coating compsn. prepd. using the same, by well maintaining the flip-flop effect thereof without decreases in the feeling of transparency and glittering properties thereof. ;CONSTITUTION: Selection is made of zinc oxide of at least 10m²/g in specific surface area for use in a glittery coating. It is pref. that 100 pts.wt. coating film-forming polymer be blended with 1-100 pts.wt. zinc oxide as mentioned above to prepare a glittery coating compsn.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
