PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart a far IR radiation characteristic, antimicrobial, deodorant, mildew-proof and insect-proof properties to wooddust. SOLUTION: A ceramic soln. obtd. by mixing and agitating any one of composite ceramics mixed with magnesia and serpentine metamorphic stone having a grain size of =5m or composite ceramics mixed with magnesia, zinc oxide, silica stone and titanium or composite ceramics mixed with magnesia, silica stone and calcium oxide and water and dispersant is introduced into a vacuum working machine loaded with a net bag sealed therein with the wooddust and the pressure is reduced to open the wall holes in the surface layer parts of the wooddust, by which the ceramic soln. is forcibly penetrated into the wall holes. The vacuum working machine is thereafter restored to the atm. pressure to close the wall holes and the wooddust is taken out. The wooddust is then dried by a drying machine, by which the composite ceramics are sealed to the surface layer parts of the wooddust.
