PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant resin article excellent in mechanical strengths, heat resistance, processability and acid resistance and highly resistant to especially surface flawing and whitening. SOLUTION: This resin article is made from a composition comprising 100 pts.wt. resin component consisting mainly of 90-60wt.% copolymer of ehylene with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivative or a vinyl ester and 1-40wt.% olefin polymer modified with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivative, 5-20 pts.wt. inorganic flame retardant comprising magnesium hydroxide or aluminum hydroxide and 0.5-20 pts.wt. flawing and whitening inhibitor comprising and adduct of an alkylene oxide with a compound selected from among higher fatty acids, esters, amides and metal salts thereof, silicones, partial fatty acid esters of polyhydric alcohols, aliphatic alcohols, fatty acids, aliphatic amines, fatty acid amides, alkylphenols and alkylnaphthols.
