(57) Abstract The real-time digital reception focusing arrangement calculates the convergence time delay the array type converter (1A) the center, making use of the corresponding sensing element, and the information regarding the scanning line. The 1st coefficient signal which is output from the multiple coefficient generation sections which in order to calculate the convergence time delay with actual time base are laid out in parallel configuration is input into the 1st multiplexer. The 1st multiplexer chooses outputs the inside one of the 1st coefficient signals in accordance with the selection control signal which corresponds to the present decisive variable signal.
