PURPOSE:To permit the provision of a large-scale flow-down type solar heat collector simply with an inexpensive cost by a method wherein the middle part of a heat collecting body is fixed, one side of a fabric is floated on the liquid level of a reserving tank and the other side of the same is retained with a retaining body while applying a tensile force on the fabric to install the title collector. CONSTITUTION:One side 2a of a heat collecting body 2 is provided on the liquid level of a reserving tank 1 such as a heat accumulating tank, a pool, a raising tank, a waste liquid processing tank, a calturing tank and the like which are provided with an upper opening, under a condition that the side 2a is floated on the liquid to form a heat collecting surface and achieve the role of the temperature keeping cover of the liquid surface. One side 2a of the heat collecting body 2 is supported while utilizing the buoyancy of the same while the other side 2b of the same is retained by a retaining body 3. A proper position between one side 2a and the other side 2b of the heat collecting body 2 is fixed through a fixing means 4 while the heat collecting body, occupying a space between the fixed position and the retaining position of the other side 2b, is retained under a condition that the same is pulled against the retaining body employing a tension means 5 and the retaining body 3 is constituted of a concrete pillar established in the ground.
