PURPOSE:To obtain a voltage divider resistor element of excellent reliability with less variances in both resistance value and dividing ratio under the conditions of high temperatures and high pressures in an electron tube by causing a resistor layer to contain an oxide of Ba. CONSTITUTION:An insulation substrate 21 is made of a ceramic with aluminum oxide as a main ingredient and further containing silicon oxide. A low resistance electrode layer 22a made of a metallic oxide containing ruthenium oxide and frit glass of lead borate or silicate family, and a high resistance resistor layer 23 made of metallic oxide containing ruthenium oxide and oxide of Ba and frit glass of lead borate or silicate family are formed on the insulation substrate 21 with a through hole 22c provided in a specified position. Because the oxide of Ba instead of CaO contained in the resistor paste for a high resistance is contained, a voltage divider resistor element of high reliability is obtained with less variance in both resistance value and dividing ratio even under special conditions in an electron tube.
