PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a technique for measuring heat constant, whereby a theoretically correct measured value can be obtained with a simple procedure. ;SOLUTION: A measurement substance is filled in a cylindrical measuring cell of a known heat constant. An energy is inputted uniformly to the inside measurement substance through the outer wall surface of the cylindrical measuring cell in a thermally balanced state. The temperature of a surface of the cylindrical measuring cell is measured as a function of time. The obtained temperature is regressed to a function related to a known temperature including a heat constant as a regression coefficient. A heat constant of the measurement substance filled in the cylindrical measuring cell is measured from the regression coefficient.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
