PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain 2,3,3,4,4-pentafluorooxolane and further to provide a method for highly selectively producing fluorine-containing oxolanes including 2,3,3,4,4- pentafluorooxolane. ;SOLUTION: This method for producing fluorinecontaining oxolanes comprises production methods for producing 2,3,3,4,4pentafluorooxolane and 2,3,3,4,4,5 hexafluorooxolane. The method for producing the 2,3,3,4,4pentafluorooxolane comprises partial fluorination of 3,3,4,4tetrafluorooxolane with a fluorination agent comprising a polyfunctional metal fluoride. The method for producing 2,3,3,4,4,5hexafluorooxolane comprises the partial fluorination of the 2,3,3,4,4 pentafluorooxolane with the fluorination agent comprising the polyfunctional metal fluoride at a temperature not more than 100°C.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
