PURPOSE: To accurately control an output starting timing after AV synchronization by correcting the parameter of an output timing corresponding to the erroneous detection of the synchronous code of an audio frame. ;CONSTITUTION: The value of a time stamp ATS supplied from an AV separation part is stored in a register (R) 51 by way of the selector (S) 53. Then it is waited that an audio decoding circuit(ADC) detects the synchronizing code of audio code data with ATS. Next, the existence of the next synchronizing code at the time/position after one frame is checked. Then, (1) at the time of presence, a storing time stamp (BTS) and a system time(ST) are compared with each other to output a decoding starting signal to ADC at the point of the time when ST is over BTS. (2) At the time of absence, an adder/subtracter 55 adds BTS of R51 and a value F of one frame period by way of S54 and the result is inputted to R51 to update BTS of R51 to be in the state of waiting synchronizing code detection again.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
