Three-dimensional human body measuring device for underwear

PURPOSE:To measure one's body with high efficiency and high accuracy in a non-contact manner without requiring an environment close to a dark room and to manufacture and select an underwear most fit to one's bodily shape. CONSTITUTION:A measuring unit 1 is constituted of a CCD camera 11 and a projector 12 equipped with a grating 121 and a shutter 122. The apparatus consists of the measuring unit 1, a switching device 2, a frame memory 3 and a computer 4. Software is composed of a measuring/controlling part, a data- forming part and a data display part. The measuring/controlling part controls an image pickup device, the switching device and processes images and coordinates. Photographed images are stored in the frame memory for deformed grating images and three-dimensional coordinates of human bodies are operated by the computer. The data are displayed.
