PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas analytical device and an analytical method keeping down increase of number of part items of the analytical device and obtainable of good responsivity with a short measuring cycle in switchover measurement of a plural number of points in a purified environment. SOLUTION: This gas analytical device is provided with two sets of gas sampling device. Liquid sending pumps 3, 15 actuate on respectively different dispersion scrubbers. With one of the dispersion scrubber connected to the liquid sending pump 15 being in a measuring condition, analysis object gas absorbed in an absorbent liquid by the dispersion scrubber is caught hold by an enriched 'a' column 14 and analyzed by an ion chromatograph 30. Meantime, a dummy run is practiced in parallel with the above by the other dispersion scrubber connected to the liquid sending pump 3. Thus the preceding analysis influence by the memory effect is held down, responsivity is improved and the measuring cycle is shortened.
