The fused yeasts possessing the capabilities of producing foreign proteins of both parent yeasts, comprising a first yeast capable of producing a foreign protein wherein a DNA sequence encoding the foreign protein has been incorporated in the chromosome thereof, and a second yeast capable of producing a foreign protein wherein a DNA sequence encoding the foreign protein has been incorporated in the chromosome thereof, their production methods and methods of producing foreign proteins are disclosed. According to the present invention, noticeable improvement of foreign protein production can be expected.
