The component is used in civil works for the construction ofbuildings or bridges. It enables the construction of flatsupporting structures of arbitrary dimensions having greatersupporting power. The flat component (1) is made of multipleboards (planks) (25) arranged next to each other lateral to itsplane which are arranged having their narrow sides upwardsstretching along the whole length of component (1). The individualboards (planks) (25) are interconnected by means of screws (27)screwed at a sharp angle towards the surface (26) of the boards(planks) (25), screws (27) being fitted in approximately on thesame plane, lateral to the length of the component (1). Screws(27) connect at least two adjacent boards (planks) (25). In theupper (30) and lower (31) edge of component (1) the boards(planks) (25) are interconnected by means of screws (28) srewedperpendicularly to the surface (26) of boards (planks) (25).14 claims, 4 figures
