The selection of the best server is performed for the mobile stations (21) by assigning a preference value within each cell (C1-C10) to each other of the cells (C1-C10) with which it is associated by the proximity of the service area. The intensity of the radio signal received by the mobile station (21) from the server cell (C1-C10) as well as from the associated cell radio channels (C1-C10) is measured.
