PREPARATION FOR FIGHTING PARASITIC INSECTS AND MITES ON HUMANS, PROCESS FOR PREPARING AND USE THEREOF

The present invention relates to a formulation for dermal control of parasitic insects and acarids on humans and having the following composition: (a) agonists or antagonists of the nicotinic acetylcholine receptors of insects in a concentration of 0.0001 to 20 percent by weight in relation to the total weight of the formulation; (b) a solvent being selected from the group consisting of cyclic carbonates in a concentration of 2.5 to 99.9999 percent by weight in relation to the total weight of the formulation; (c) optionally other solvents being selected from the group consisting of alcohols in a concentration of 0 to 95 percent by weight in relation to the total weight of the formulation; (d) optionally other auxiliary agents being selected from the group consisting of thickeners, spreading agents, colorants, antioxidants, expanding agents, preservatives, adhesives, and emulsifying agents, in a concentration of 0 to 30 percent by weight in relation to the total weight of the formulation with the proviso that excluded from the alcohol groups is benzyl alcohol and pyrrolidones that can be optionally substituted. There is further described the use of insect acetylcholine receptor agonists or antagonists for the preparation of the above-described formulation.
