The present invention relates to a process for removing liquid and/or solid impurities adhering to a workpiece (6), in particular oils, emulsions and/or chips, the workpiece (6) being secured in a device and made to oscillate. The new process is characterized in that oscillation frequency is in the range of 20 to 100 Hz and oscillations are generated on that portion of the device, to which the workpiece (6) is attached. Impurities adhering to the workpiece (6) are simultaneously removed by stream of directed air being conveyed through at least one nozzle (4) the shape of which matches the workpiece (6). Exhausted liquid and solid impurities are separated from each other by means of suitable separating devices and are supplied for repeated or new use. The device for securing the workpiece (6) is resiliently mounted on a base plate (1). An oscillator (5) is arranged on said workpiece (6) securing device or it can be attached thereto. At least one nozzle (4), the shape of which is adapted to the workpiece (6) or adaptable thereto by means of the nozzle (4) adjustable parts, is connected with an exhaust device and is movable on the base plate (1) to selected positions. Moreover, is comprises separating and filter installation where the exhausted liquid and solid impurities can be separated from each other and then supplied for a repeated or new use.
