DECORATIVE STRUCTURES FROM VOLCANIC ROCK

The decorative structures from volcanic material are made of processed volcanic rock from the islands of Santorini, Nisiros, Milos and Kimolos and are used for the purposes of decoration and souvenirs and/or other uses. The processing of the rock involves pulverising it and then mixing it with materials such as polyester or glass or silicone or cement or P.V.C. in order to liquefy it so that it can be injected into a suitable mould to take a particular form without altering its original texture and at the same time retaining the colour of the volcanic rock.
