PROCESS FOR RACEMIZING OPTICALLY ACTIVE AMINO ACIDES AND FOR PREPARING L- OR D-HOMOALANIN-4-YL-(METHYL)PHOSPHINIC ACID AND ITS SALTS BY RACEMIC RESOLUTION AND ENANTIOMERS OF THE PROCESS
The process according to the invention comprises [L] -mothermalin-4-yl- (methyl) spinic acid (L-acid) and its salts, in which R represents a hydrogen atom or a NH4 D tube, or a compound of the general formula (L-I). as antipodes for the preparation of (D) -mothermalin-4-yl- (methyl) spinic acid (D-acid) and its salts, wherein R is hydrogen or NH4, in the range of compounds of formula (D-I), racemic [DL] - by separation of thermoalanine-4-yl- (methyl) spinic acid (DL-acid) or its salts. The process comprises a) reacting DL-acid or its salt with a chiral base selected from alkali bases, b) reacting a mixture of diastereomeric salts from D-acid, L-acid and the chiral base in a substantially aqueous or aqueous-organic solvent, wherein D- or The pourability of the L-acid salt exceeds that of the L- or D-acid salt, the salt of the L- or D-acid and the achiral base is crystallized, and c) in the case of the production of the free L- or D-acid, the resulting salt is acidified. neutralized or, in the case of a salt other than the salt obtained in step b), reacted in a salt exchange reaction.
