The present invention refers to a process for the recovery of magnesium and sodium salts n from natural brines, which comprises performing a fractional crystallization of Glauber Salt (Na2SO41OH2O) and Epsom Salt (MgSO47H2O) from a natural brine, mainly constituted by sodium and magnesium sulfates. As an embodiment of the present invention, the process may or may not allow dehydration of Glauber and Epsom Salts to be performed up to their respective anhydrous forms, by a fluidized bed drying. Such process is characterized in that it is carried out in three stages; firstly, a Glauber Salt crystallization is performed; the Epsom Salt is then crystallized and, finally, if required, a dehydration of any salt is carried out.
