Wart treatment method involving application of freezing agent

A device (2) for local application of a liquid freezing agent, especially for the removal of warts, has a middle section between the distal and proximal ends for the receival and controlled release of the freezing agent. The proximal end has a special shape for enabling it to be easily brought into contact with a part of the body, the freezing agent being sprayed into the distal end and dispensed from proximal end. The freezing agent is preferably a mixture of dimethyl ether and propane. Also claimed are: (a) a kit (1) comprising the above applicator device and an aerosol can (4) containing the freezing agent, (b) the application method by fitting a supply tube (8) between the aerosol can and applicator, (c) a method for freezing part of the human body, preferably a wart, using the above kit, and (d) the use of the kit for carrying out the above freezing method.
