The vessel (1) has a working deck (4) supported by legs which are connected to pontoons (2). The forward ends of the pontoons are linked by cross beams (8). In the center of the deck are a drill string tower (5) and a so-called Moonpool (7). Access (9) to the drill string (6) below the deck is between the other ends of the pontoons.
