Folding 'kitchen' steps with load spreading rails - has U-shaped channels which spread the loads on the front feet and rear support bar

When used on a soft surface, e.g. grass, soil or sand, the feet (2) and rear support bar (3) of conventional folding steps (1) can sink into the ground. The present steps have U-shaped channel bars attached to spread the load. The channel bars can be screwed to the feet and support. Alternatively, a strip of non-slip material can be glued into the bottom of the channel and the feet and support placed into them temporarily.
