A sample of a fluid, such as a gaseous fluid emerging from a liquid / gas separator container (10) in a plant oil, is continuously withdrawn and isokinetic by a sample tube (18). This tube opens out according to the axis of a pipe (16) of the gas outlet towards the separator (10), at the junction between the pipe and the container. The character isokinetic sampling is ensured by regulating the flow rate in the tube (18), with the aid of a regulating valve (28) controlled by a regulator (32) as a function of the flow rates measured in the tube (18) and in the pipe (16). In the tube (18), the liquid is separated from the gas by a filter (22).
