A laminated column clay catalyst for preparing ethylene, propylene and butylene by catalytic cracking of heavy oil is prepared rom aluminium cross-linked laminated column clay (30-75 wt.%), inorganic oxide adhesive containing A1, Si or Zr, (10-40), high-Si zeolite with five-membered ring structure (0-30), modifier chosen from Mg, Al, P, Sn and polyetylene glycol, or their mixture (0-10) and kaoline clay (0-50), and features high strength, qualified bulk specific weight and high active stability and selectivity to olefin.
